Some of the books in the Apocrypha also need to be considered. Wisdom  and  Sirach  were regarded as  masterpieces  among the Jewish sages, the latter being even more potent than  Proverbs or Eccleseastes. Some Bibles include these in their list. Evidence in the Gospels suggests that Jesus was well aware of these masterpieces.

You’ll find these Outlines focused, easier to track and less confusing because of their noted categories. Any reading beyond these should not be hard to comprehend their time, place and/or their purpose. You need only pay closer attention to the dating sequence between the Bible's books. (Revised 2014 to today's newer datings.)

A good portion of this was noted or realized during the collective forming of the four Gospels into one. Much referencing into the Old Testament had to be conducted to better understand Jesus' or the Gospels’ references to the Law and the Prophets, as well as Hebrew history. This helped to reveal the root of the teaching itself.
